Repurposed grandma’s lost earringHi

My grandma, my mom’s Mom who I ever met, gave my mom her emerald and pearl yellow gold earrings from Italy. She lost one and would often just look at the one earring. Twenty or more years ago I swiped it from her jewelry box and had a jeweler put a bale on it so she could wear it as a necklace. The emeralds and one pearl is sooo tiny but I always loved it as a pendant. My mom is wearing it today so gave it a good clean for her. She’s off to Bingo! Ya gotta get dressed up for that!
Have no idea how Hi got in the title but can’t change it..

I put it in the ultrasonic and crossed my fingers..I know you don’t put pearls in there but she never cleans her jewelry so I had to do it. I figured if the teeny pearl fell out..we would keep it but I would put a teeny diamond in there for her.

It's PERFECT as a pendant, and she will be able to enjoy it often, instead of just looking at it in her jewelry box! Reminds me of a cameo ring I inherited from my mom. It was originally one of two earrings of my grandmother's (on my dad's side). When my grandmother passed, my aunt (dad's sister), who inherited all of my dad's mom's jewelry, had the earrings made into two cameo rings, one for each of her sisters-in-law.
