Reset My 2.28ct into WF''s Tiffany Repro

I just got the pix from Whiteflash and I can''t wait to see this in person tomorrow. I had WF set my 2.28ct. I/SI2 stone into the elaineh version of the Tiffany repro. Already I think it shows off my diamond so much better than the old setting.

WOW! The crown style head makes the stone looks so much larger than the 6 prong head in your first mount. Maybe I should go with this setting for my new 1.76 carat diamond. Enjoy...looking forward to hand pics!

Now here''s the big questions: I didn''t tell hubby that I did this. Normally he isn''t home during the week, and it wouldn''t be hard for me to drive across town to FedEx to pick up a package without him knowing. He will be here tomorrow. How do I disappear for an hour in the morning to pick it up? AND what if FedEx gives me that automated call saying I have a package to be picked up, and HE answers it???

If you are that concerned about FedEX..call them now (24/7) and tell them no phone call.

I think he will be upset that I reset the stone because that ring was my big upgrade. I think he will not be happy that I wanted something more simple after buying a fancier setting.

Honestly, he could probably care less. I just don''t want to possibly hurt his feelings that I wanted something different now.

heheh....do you REALLY think he won''t notice your HUGE HONKING stone is now ALL BY ITSELF all of a sudden?!? you know, this reset could work to your advantage.....when he sees it he is going to think not only that you changed the setting but that you got a WHOLE NEW BIGER DIAMOND and spent your life savings on it. THEN he''ll be kissing your feet with gratitude when he finds out you only reset the diamond you already had.....

btw, i think your ring is gorgeous if you couldn''t tell! love the new setting, it does your diamond justice.

Your diamond makes mine look Teeeeeeny!!! I love yours it turned out GREAT!!!!! I also ordered the matching plain band and a 3/4 ct eternity band but the eternity band it wont be here until next Thursday!!!!
