Rhino and Goodold Gold what a great bunch

I just had to share this great experience I had visiting Rhino and goodold gold last week.
I was in New York (over form England) and as I was really curious to see all the ideal cut stones in person.
I had emailed Rhino in advance to ask if it was ok to come and have a look even though we (me and my other half) weren''t planning on buying anything.

Rhino and his bunch were so hospitable and spent so much time with us, and showed us lots of stones, the Regent, the square hearts and arrows, the new eightfinity.

I was amazed at how his stones looked so much more amazing that I had thought possible.

Rhino also showed me some stones to illuminate the big debate that has been going on of whether the smaller facets matter for the look for stone.
he showed me stones whic had longer lower girdle facets (which makes for thinner arrows) and some with longer. Although they were both beatuiful it was ntoicabe that the one with the thinner arrows had more "pops" although I'd say that hte other stoens pops were a bit bigger.

The longer girdle factes as with the eightfinity seemed to me more like a crushed ice effect, and the shorter facets had a more "symmetrical look" it's hard to explain, they looked different, but either was beautiful.

I didn't post this in the other thread as I'm completely intimidated by the jargon and technical talk.
