I got the new Nikon Coolpix S52C and started playing with the macro and stuff and got a really good pic of my right hand ring!
This was like 5 minutes ago... so no sunlight... with the flash ON

Very fun RHR! Pretty.

Oohh pretty! That''s an awesome ring!

That''s a really good camera. Since it''s pretty similar to the camera I use for macro, I''ll tell you how to get them super sharp and clear - lean the camera against something stationary, like a desk or a table. On macro, even the movement of your own breathing blurs it. As clear as they are now, if you try setting them camera on something stationary, you''ll be AMAZED.

I am TOTALLY going to try that! LOL!
I have a tripod... for my SLR... I think I''ll pop this baby on it!

Lovely ring! Where in TX are you? DFW area here!

I take almost all of my diamond pics on a tripiod of flat on a table. I''m not steady enough to take a super clear macro pic without help!

Oohh tripod is even better! And use the timer if your camera has one - even the movement of pressing the button allows a tiny amount of movement. (Macro is REALLY annoying except on super-high-end cameras, and I am far too cheap buy one of those!) I can''t wait to see how the next pictures come out :D

Lovely!

What a fun, blingy ring!

That''s gorgeous! I saw one similar to it somewhere and LOVED it on my finger, but unfortunately didn''t have the cash in my pockets.
