Ring from my Gram

My Gram (Grandma) gave me a small diamond ring 15 years ago, before she passed away. I have no idea what the diamond stats are, but it is a pretty little stone from what I can see, and the setting is high and looks to be filigree.
I don''t know if it is white gold or platinum, and I don''t have a loupe or magnifying glass to read the inscription on the inside of the band (sad, I know!)
I can wear it on my pinky finger, and my regular ring size is a 4.5, so it''s pretty small.

Really pretty ring. I too have one from my Nanna, that is somewhat similar to yours. I actually wear it when I don''t want to wear the real rock! And I just love it!

It looks like a 1920s style, so the diamond may be a charming old cut as well. Hard to tell from the picture.

Lovely, I am sure you were really special to her... great to be able to pass to your children someday. My grandmother passed away when I was only 5. When I was 16 my grandfather gave me her ring that she always wanted me to have. It was so special and emotional because he was waiting all those years to give it to me from her.
