Ring hallmarks

Hi all,

I had an impulse buy at an antique store today and got a cute little emerald cut ring that’s GIA E SI1 in 18K solitaire. I didn’t notice the other marking which I believe says PLAT. It’s slightly worn off but I believe it means the head is platinum?

Thanks. The 18K hallmark sign is very clear on the other end of the ring. The PLAT mark is worn out.
