This has been a very grueling 5 month process for me but I think I did pretty well. What do you guys/gals think? I think I could have went a little slimmer on the setting but I really do like it. Now for pics.

Thanks for ALL the compliments. She kind of knows since we picked out the stone together and looked at lots of settings including this one but she does not know that I picked this particular setting. I'm really hoping she loves this ring since she was leaning toward a channel set with a slightly slimmer band and no pave on the sides. I really want to thank JulieN and the others in my original thread where I got totally turned around on some other stones that would not have looked so good since the proportions were a little out of whack.

Thanks again everyone, I have to ask if My now FI is going to wear a spacer btw the Engagement ring and the wedding band if she chooses to wear it like that? There are small stones going down the sides of the ring and from what I understand these will be rubbing against the wedding band which could damage it and possibly cause the stones to fall out. Now the search is on for the band itself though and I have about 2 months to get it right. Does anyone have any opinions to share.
