Ring Setting with a High-set Halo

Ring Setting

Hi all, do you know if the diamond on this setting would sit high or sit flush? I'm looking for a setting to have the diamond sit very high circa early 2010s with the "tacky high halo" look? Yes, I'm aware it's a Vera Wang setting.

Looking at the picture - from what I can see and estimate - the current notch in the prong isn’t looking to be like the previous stone’s girdle was set flush/just above the halo. It seems -I think- you would indeed be able to see some pavilion above the halo via side view of the ring. Is that as tacky high as you are looking for- hard to tell.

Ultimately I think a good amount might depend on the bench themselves, and of course you can make your wish known of what you want to see in the end result whether that includes lengthening the prongs or not.
