I''ve googled a lot of ring size charts, and the one thing I have discovered is no two are alike. Is there a definitive source of ring sizes that is widely accepted?

I''ve measured the inside circumference of a ring I have, and it is exactly 55 mm. But I have come up with 7, 7.25 and 7.5 according to the source.

Which do you think is more correct?

I just went to a local jeweler and had them size my finger for my ring, it was very accurate. I suggest doing it that way to ensure accuracy.

Ditto to Daisi - I think that getting properly sized is the way to go here. Also put some thought into whether you will want your ring looser or tighter - that can change what size you get by 0.25 or so.

Yes, I did think about that. I''m in Australia though, we use a different sizing system. The charts I have seen also give different conversions from Australian - US sizing. So if a jeweller here sizes me as an M (I think this is what I am) that could also translate as a 7, 7.5 etc. Very frustrating!

Yuck, that is frustrating!

I actually ended up ordering my own sizer. You could get one from the US so that you''d avoid the translation issue. I''m trying to find a link for it so I can show you the one I have, because it''s worked very well for me... will post if/when I do find it.
