Ughh! I love the new pictures. Do you think it’s sizable? An 8.5 would fall off my thumb— I even checked on my ring sizer. The biggest ring I can wear is a 7 if I stack on my index finger. Maybe it would work with one of those plastic slinky sizer things. I’d hate to mess with a ring older than the US declaration.

I know what you mean!
I do have some plastic sizers (spiral type that don’t damage the ring) and would be happy to include a selection of them for you. I think a good jeweller can easily size it down (when they reopen). They can consult with you about any other tweaks, as well, such as replacing the foil, or removing the cup altogether if you prefer.
