Is it true that RB are like "the gold standard" for tennis bracelets? & not other cuts (emerald, princess, etc.)?

Round brilliants make up around 2/3rd of all diamonds out there, so they’re pretty much the most common option for everything.

I do feel like for tennis bracelets they are exceptionally common, though I have seen tennis bracelets in other shapes (or even multi shape) before.

AFAIK, the bracelet worn by Chris Evert when she lost it during a tennis match (hence the name) was made with RBs.

Many variations exist, and I would love to have a second one with Princess cut stones in a bar setting, to stack with my bezel-set MRB one.

DK :))

I’ve seen it in various diamond cuts. Always thought it’s more of a personal preference rather than a gold standard. Even the settings (3 prong, 4 prong, etc) can vary quite a bit.

that is the same story re: eternity/ inline bracelets/ tennis bracelets.
I like the carre cut ones, but they are super hard to find as it is not a common cut. MRB are the more common stones for these bracelets.

Given the rarity of the cut to go into the bracelet i am after, it will be custom and most likely the MMD route.

i am quite sated for now, have had a few years of splurging leading up to my 50th!!! I need a break and rebuild funds LOLOLOL
