Round Diamond - Advice Needed

I need some advice on this diamond I'm looking to purchase :-)
I tried as much as possible to balance between color, cut, clarity, & weight within my budget. I really wanted to max. weight but maintain the sparkle and light reflection without having too much yellow. I was told that in round I can go down to I without picking up on the yellow - also I read online that sometimes a blue fluor. can help offset some of the yellow. I know that the cut and proportions really impact that sparkle of the diamond so I wasn't sure if these proportions will make up for the lower grade color to give me a good sparkle.

Round - GIA Certified
Measurement: 7.12x 7.15x 4.45 mm
Weight - 1.41
Color - I
Clarity - VS2
Cut - Excellent
Polish - Excellent
Symmetry - Excellent
Fluor - medium

Table: 58%
Depth: 62.4%
Crown Angle: 35.5
Pavilion Angle: 41.0
Griddle Thickness: Medium - Slightly Think Faceted 4.0%

Diamond confirmed to be "eye clean".

Thank you :-)

Have you seen any in person? The color piece is very subjective IMO. While some people have shown many K colored well cut diamonds face up really white, in my personal opinion you can notice a difference past H. Specific to this diamond - are there any photos / videos you can use to judge how well it is cut?

I've requested a video and pictures of the diamond and should have them soon. Have not seen it in person; this is an online purchase :)

The crown and pavilion are not very complimentary. You want a lower pavilion with this crown or a lower crown with the 41 pavilion.
Can you get an aset or idealscope image? That will tell if there is any leakage going on.

You need a 40.6 pavilion angle with a 35.5 crown angle. I'd honestly mark this one off the list. You want excellent for light return, fire, and scintillation (very good is fine for spread). HCA scores of 2 or lower are worth considering, and sometimes slightly above 2. But this one is 3.9, so not one I'd consider.

I should add that the GIA grade of excellent is VERY broad. So sadly, you can't go by their "excellent" cut grade alone.

What about this option ? I've asked to see pics and video of this.

This one scores 5.6 on the HCA, sorry, personally I would pass on it. Which website are you looking at buying from? Do you have a particular budget in mind?

I was looking into B2C Jewels. Trying to remain under $7K.

I looked up the ones you showed and I guessed that was the case before your reply - may I suggest this one? https://www.b2cjewels.com/dd/18206464/Round-Diamond-I-Color-VS2-Clarity

I'm not sure how strict your parameters are but I looked it up slightly below 1.4 (the ~3-4 1.4 I VS1/2s they have are all high in HCA) -
this one scores a 1.8 on HCA with Very Good all around (and an Average looks like size)

I would still ask them to share pictures as clouds not shown are the only inclusion and may make it look hazy

I'm big on looking at table, crown and pavilion angles, as a jump start, and the combination of those three on this stone just are not doing it for me.

Honestly, you should ask here before asking for pictures or video because this one is a big no.

Here are some parameters to help you.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0 (35.5 can work if pavilion angle is 40.6, low crown angle works better with higher pav angle within the ranges I have listed)

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9

Unless numbers are just perfect, I don't even look at diamonds that don't have either a photo or video.

I'll try to look for a few minutes.

These would have to be verified as eyeclean:

The prettiest one if you can go up $300, and I think a step up in color and clarity is well worth it:

A little higher and a tiny area of leakage that I think would be okay, beautiful:

I totally agree with those parameters. I'd personally prefer the table max at 57, and depth maxed to 62 for even tighter proportions. But sometimes the right stone just doesn't come along when you want it to.

What about this option? Not sure what the HCA score is.

For me, personally, that one would be a hard pass. But what matters is what you like.. Put the specs into HCA and see what pops up.

If you will read my post #12 above carefully, you will know that this stone is not in the acceptable range. I also posted some acceptable stones #13. We are trying to help you.

Thank you! Yes, saw all of them and this one popped up as well so I just added it to the list I was reviewing.
