Hello ladies!
I apologize for going MIA for the past few weeks. My SO has been in town and I spent every extra mintue that I had with him while he was here. (School and work were enough to keep up with!)
Anyways... I drove him to the airport today and he flew away to Germany.
I did better than I thought I would with they crying- it wasn''t a total sob story! Anyways, I''ll see him for a few days in November, and then I''ve already booked my flight to go spend Christmas break with him (and I got a great deal on the flight- direct flight, round trip on Lufthansa from Charlotte to Munich for $850!)
I''m sad now- the first night alone is always so tough. I''ve got an exam in the morning, and studying is just not on my list of "things I love to do" tonight. I just want ice cream and a bubble bath!
BUT... on a happier note, we went ring shopping again while he was here, and I think I''ve narrowed it down to 2 rings that I just love- I haven''t seen anything else that I love more, and I can''t decide which of the 2 I like better. He went back to the jeweler on his own without me the next day to talk about financing and purchasing! (Although I still have NO idea when he''ll propose or even buy for that matter)... he said it would be "within a year" and that I was going to sob like a baby when he did propose. He even told me that he ran his proposal idea by the lady at the jewelry store... and SHE said I would sob too! GREAT... lol... I guess I won''t wear mascara for the next year and I''ll be sure to keep my nails done- ha ha.
Anyways, sorry for the LONG post, but I don''t want to bother any of my friends as they study right now, so I though I would bug you gals!
