Well I''m not an expert but I think the Kashmir Blue is supposed to be the "most desirable" due to the intense blue color and sleepyness caused by the silk. If you ask anyone here though, I think they probably would say whatever color makes your heart sing. Some like darker blues, some like lighter blues. Some don''t like blue at all, and go for yellow, pink, green, etc. There are many gorgeous blue sapphires here on PS!Date: 4/26/2008 3:18:54 PM

What color blue is the most desirable for sapphires and why? Does anyone have pictures of their sapphires? Thanks for your help!
Looks fine to me. The only important question is whether or not you like the colour. Everyone has their own favourite shades.Date: 4/26/2008 8:10:55 PM

Thanks for the replies! I just got a ring from my DF and it''s an art deco ring. The blue of the sapphire is not too blue and not too light. I will post a picture. Now, in the pic. the stone is darker than in real life. I did not use a flash either. Does this seem to be an o.k. color? Please be honest. Thanks!
The top two and the violet one are all from Palagems.Date: 4/26/2008 8:21:48 PM

Pandora, that is purrty. I guess I will have to look at the natural sapphire website.
I don''t like the sapphires that are so blue that they are so dark and have no life.
Not sure my bank manager would agree with you there!Date: 4/26/2008 8:33:58 PM

I''m starting to like sapphires more and more. I never really used to care for them. I like rubies and diamonds. Pandora, thanks for telling me what website you found those sapphires from. Not like I''m going to purchase one of those babies, but looking doesn''t hurt!
