Lovely little vintage ring. I bought the setting off of Ruby Lane a few years back and set a 4.4mm natural sapphire in it.
The sapphire (from Freke originally) is a rich blue that shifts to purple in incandescent light and has gorgeous flash to it. It's impossible to photograph on these dreary winter days, but is a lovely stone.
The setting is 18k wg which has been rhodium dipped. It's a size 6.5, but the band is so narrow I think it fits more like a true 7. It has a beautiful pierced lyre motif on the sides, a little different from all the floral filigree out there.
Price is for the sapphire solitaire only, the band is listed separately.
