This piece was made by my local jeweler. I'm absolutely certain that it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea. The stone is a deep royal blue and not the lighter, vivid color that is so popular. But I'm absolutely in love with this necklace! The design is so regal and yet subtle, if that makes sense. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if I had the money. But hospital bills have already put a few projects on hold. So I thought I'd share it and let everyone pick apart the flaws so I feel better about not being able to get it. FB_IMG_1677325005582.jpg

I think ‘modern regal’ is exactly the look here! I love the clarity. I have sapphires this color, so you are not going to get any help from me. ; )

My favorite color is 50 shades of blue!

He produces some absolutely stunning jewelry. And I have a particular soft spot for sapphires. So not being able to buy this piece does sting a bit. Lol

I think it's very pretty!

Chain length is critical, imo -- in terms of the "take-off angle" at the ends of those delicate curves. I'd want to carry that 45- or 60-degree (?) angle which is almost choker length on a bare neck. Or maybe I'm just nuts.

Utterly awful. I even put a sad face on your post to help offset those ridiculous likes! Why on earth would you waste money on a blue sapphire and diamonds?! It's tacky.

Now then, did that make you feel better? :cool2:

(It's really pretty!)

It's a 17 inch chain. 14K rhodium plated white gold. Perfect length for this style in my opinion. Not quite a choker, but close enough.

It didn't really make me feel better lol. I'd nearly sell a kidney to buy it.

Ah I would position the sapphire the other way so this totally doesn’t work for me.

HTH? :P2

I don't think anything is going to help honestly. The heart wants what the heart wants. Lol

Oh, now I understand the game.

How 'bout: All I see is this:

Sorry. It was more of a look at this gorgeous thing that I wish I could buy. The bit about picking apart it's flaws was a joke I couldn't resist. Lol
