Sapphire side stones for 3 stone e-ring

Good morning! I’m looking to reset my original engagement ring as a 3 stone. The center stone is a beautifully cut 1.24 g vs1. I’m looking for advice regarding size of side stones, and sources. I’m not looking to spend a fortune, and I don’t really care about treatments, and prefer a royal blue stone. The setting will be a low basket. I have small hands, but still want good finger coverage, so I’m leaning towards larger side stones, but I’m all ears for advice. Thank you in advance! also, I’m in chicago so if anyone can recommend a good jeweler to do this project, it would be most appreciated! I’ll post pix later so you all can see what we’re dealing with

What shape and mm size is your diamond? What shape sides do you want?

Hi! Leibish has some pairs. Africa Gems also has several round pairs, but Marc carries calibrated sizes in other shapes as well, so perhaps he could match some for you. Good luck!

Thank you kindly for your replies! I attached some photos to show how it is set now… it is a RB. Ideally I’d like to go round with the side stones as well. While the setting is lovely,
I’m constantly having stones fall out, despite having the ring checked and not wearing it except for situations where I know it won’t get knocked around. I’d like to recycle some of the melee maybe make a pair of little hoops and make the sapphires into earrings. The stats are on the grading report and I will lay my hands on it at some point! Sparkles like crazy, as hubs went for optical performance over size (good man!)
