Anybody here have a home sauna? I’d love to get one and would appreciate input
Supposedly good for detoxing. Any kind of sweating helps but infrared saunas are supposed to be the HG of detoxing
I think it’s a long shot that anyone reading has a home sauna but please share if you do or have any suggestions

HI:

My colleague and her DH just built one on their property. They use it daily and really love it. Not sure if they'll use it in the summer tho.

cheers--Sharon

There was a sauna in the apartment building where my husband and I lived when we first were married.

We used it a few times, but I couldn’t stand the heat, especially on my face.
I was in my twenties then. Now, many many years later, I know I couldn’t tolerate it.

I also can’t say I feel any better after using the sauna.

We had one in our last house @missy. We loved it, especially in the winter. It really helped me sleep too after sitting in it steaming for an hour.

I really wanted one of these incredible SaunaRay units, especially for DH's arthritis. Specifically, the one-person unit, as it can be moved. I knew we would be moving. Alas, he wouldn't go for it.

Where we live now, there's a high-end hot tub (came with the house), and I use it rarely. He uses it almost daily, but even though I know it's scrupulously clean, I really don't like soaking in hot water with chemicals going into my open pores. :???: Infrared is the best!

I've sat in this company's display units and they're truly next level! My SIL has a two-person unit in their downstair bathroom, and she uses it all. the. time., especially in winter.
