since i'm my own wedding planner (like most of us

), i'm wondering if you girls (or already marrieds) can help me with timing of the "day of."

when is bridal party (bm's and groomsmen and i guess groom) supposed to be at the church? (1/2 hour before, 15 minutes)? I know they need to put boutanniers on, so probably need some time.
Are groomsmen supposed to arrive before bm's, or does it matter?

how about me..do i just show up at the time i'm meant to be there on the dot?

thanks!

Do you have rooms to wait in before the ceremony? If so, I''d say you should all be there before any guests start arriving, so probably more like an hour beforehand. If you don''t want your FI to see you, you could just hide out in the room until it''s time to walk down the aisle. I definitely wouldn''t wait to get there until it''s time to walk down the aisle though.

there are no waiting rooms. the drive is 10-15mns from my home to the church.
i guess maybe bridal party can arrive 1/2 hour before? i wish there was a template for this stuff!

My sister's wedding her FI arrived at the church 3/4 to 1/2 an hour before. She , my dad and the BM's then arrived on the dot of 3.00pm. My parents live opposite the church so that was easy.

My venue is 15 minutes away, so my father and I will either drive over from their house or potentially I could leave from wherever I'm staying the night of the wedding - then I can leave stuff there etc and it will be closer for hairdresser etc - and less full of stressy relatives for getting ready! FI and his GM will be staying in the same village as the venue - I get the venue for 24hrs before the wedding to set up and do flowers etc so he can spend as long as he wants there before the wedding, but I am presuming an hour before so as to welcome guests etc
