search by date & filter functions

It would be great to be able to search by date when you do an advanced search - as in, press the "date" button and threads appear sorted chronologically, in addition to the "set your search dates within this range" function currently available.



Also, Is there any way to enact some sort of filter so that when you do an advanced search you don''t get the same thread listed multiple times in the results?
