I didn''t have an appointment or anything, I just went in to see if they could get me a quote on a particular dress I''d seen online. They carry the designer, but didn''t have that dress in stock because it''s from last fall, so I brought a price quote from an online retailer to see if they could match it. Well, I don''t know if they just didn''t want to match that quote and order it, but the girl said something like "We couldn''t find any information on that dress, sorry." Even when I asked her if they could call the designer and find out, she was like, "We just don''t have any paperwork on it at all." OK, whatever. I''m sure I can find it elsewhere. I didn''t try anything else on there.

Did you try on anything fun in Bailey, Banks & Biddle?

Oh my gosh, how rude! You should try Jinny''s Bridal it''s also in Huntington Beach. Their prices were the same as those on bridesave.com plus they were super friendly. If you just need an alterations lady mine was awesome - went above and beyond for practically nothing (price-wise) so I gave her a little extra. Only thing is, she lives in Orange so I don''t know if that would be too far for you.

Yes, I tried on a pear ring at BaileyB&B. It wasn''t cut very well and it was the only pear they had in store. Tiffany''s didn''t have ANY pears in store!

Did you get your dress from Jinny''s? I''ve heard good things about them, thanks for the rec. And I might just have to get the name of your seamstress too. I''m 99% sure I''m going to take a chance and order the dress I want online, and then deal with alterations if I need to. Orange isn''t too bad a drive for me.
