Hi everyone,

I'm selling it because in the end I prefer antique pieces, and did not wear this bracelet much.

You can see it in this thread (scroll down for hand shots).

Stats:
- Made by a trusted PS vendor, Wink Jones
- 4 prong, hand-assembled 18k WG setting
- 50 stones @ 10 pts each = 5ctw (the clasp is engraved as 5.05)
- Vendor described the diamonds as "G/H SI1 very well cut Israeli stones" (not certed)
- Diamonds are set close together, so form a continuous line of sparkle
- Setting is ~4mm tall
- Bracelet is ~7 inches in length

I'm asking fair secondary market value for this piece, which I've been told is $5k USD. I see Whiteflash currently has similar 5ctw bracelets available for ~$7300 USD (14k, ACA stones).

I'm in Eastern Canada... my preference for a private sale would be an in-person transaction (mutually agreed safe public place, perhaps a bank?). For non in-person & international transactions, I am planning to consign through a well-known PS vendor.

If anyone might be interested in an in-person private sale before I consign it, let me know.

Or, if anyone has suggestions on a more efficient way to do this, I'm open!

Anne

Anne, do you have a loupe troop or diamond bistro listing so I can email you? I'm interested. Thanks.

Hi acebruin! Assuming you are ultimately interested in the piece, would you be available to meet in-person in Eastern Canada? That is my first choice for a private sale. For other types of sales (non in-person or international), I will likely consign through a well-known PS vendor.

If you are aware of a better way to do this, let me know!

Anne

I don't think you need to consign. You get less that way. You can use David Atlas as a middle man. That way he can also appraise the piece. He's also a reputable appraiser on PS.

I'm in the US btw.

Thanks acebruin. Let me give the thread a few days to see if anyone might be interested in an in-person private sale in Eastern Canada. If not, I will figure out other options (Dave, consign, etc). I will post back in the thread so that you can be kept updated, in case you remain interested.

If any Canadians have found a way to ship high-value jewelry items fully insured to the US, let me know.

Anne

How did you ship back to Wink when you got it? How close are you to US border? Lol

In the end, I did not ship back to Wink for sizing, partially because of these logistical issues. That's why the bracelet is still its original standard size of ~7 inches.

Ah... Try UPS?
