Hi,

I bought a K. Brunini Twig necklace at an estate sale a couple of years ago. I was looking at her work yesterday and I realized that I seem to have bought something pretty special. It's really not my style, so I'm working on deciding how to sell the piece. Do you have any suggestions on how to decide on value and where to sell a designer necklace? It's 18k gold with a .6 ct, light brown diamond briolette.

Thanks!

No idea on valuation but that's really pretty!

You could always search on ebay and then check the "show sold items" box to see if you can see prices other pieces by the designer sold for?

Yes, unless you can find a collector of named pieces it’s hard to get much more than gold & gem value when selling jewellery pre loved.
That said, it is very beautiful and interesting so I’m sure if you can research what other pieces have sold for, that will give you a better idea of resale price. You might have to wait for the right buyer to come along so enjoy it in the meantime.

Depending on where the designer is from I sometimes do an ebay search in that country. Even if you don't speak the language you can usually get some information that way, pictures or price. And I use t Google translate

ebay.fr in France
ebay.it in Italy
ebay.de in Germany
ebay.uk

Thank you all for the ideas. I had no idea about the "show sold items" on Ebay.
