They don't allow sales on the forum.SarahBr said:I know the place where all bag-addicted gather: http://forum.purseblog.com
You can try there.
I've been on TPF for over 4 years and had no clue there was a private market place there!shaggy1|1474566623|4079625 said:They don't allow sales on the forum.SarahBr said:I know the place where all bag-addicted gather: http://forum.purseblog.com
You can try there.
(There's a private market place section by invitation only).
I think you have to apply yourself, but they don't often add new people. Do a search in the Feedback area for 'marketplace' or 'marketplaza' and you should be able to find the current procedure.samanthaxo said:I've been on TPF for over 4 years and had no clue there was a private market place there!shaggy1|1474566623|4079625 said:They don't allow sales on the forum.SarahBr said:I know the place where all bag-addicted gather: http://forum.purseblog.com

Are you apart of the group? If so, can you invite me?
Hi, I did a search and it seems like it is Invite only. I am going to send you a private message.shaggy1|1475007464|4081356 said:I think you have to apply yourself, but they don't often add new people. Good luck!
You could try Loupe Troop, I’ve seen the occasional bag on there. At least it’s free!
eBay / PayPal will charge you 13%. You can put “restrictions” on your listings. What I have done is list a higher price but accept offers. By accepting offers you can check out your buyer before you let them buy. You want to see their feedback and history on eBay. I’ve been on eBay 15 years so obviously I’m a trustworthy person. Avoid buyers with less than 100 feedback and see what other things they’ve bought, to see if they are buying good things and not a heap of 99 cent things to get their numbers up!
Take clear photos, show the Serial number. If you still have the receipts, indicate that in the listing.Thank you for the guidance! I will list on eBay today and follow your advice when dealing with buyers. I have listed on loupe troop before, but didn’t have much luck at the time but it’s worth trying again.
Take clear photos, show the Serial number. If you still have the receipts, indicate that in the listing.
Note condition, LV buyers are super fussy so if any scratches or nicks, say so. Anything major take a photo of. Note condition of inside, hopefully no Stains!. If non smoker and Pet free home (some people are funny about such things) say so as well. Remember your listing has to be 100% accurate to avoid a potential “take it back it’s not as described”.
Don’t do pick up (obvious reasons) only accept PayPal and only send to the Address eBay gives you. NEVER EVER send to another address not matter what the sob story. Don’t do any transactions away from eBay, unless enquiry came through another source (ie Loupe Troop).
Always send signed for delivery, no exceptions.
Check current prices for similar and do a “sold” search to see if a similar bag has sold recently to get an idea if your price is fair or not.
List as “run until further notice” time, eBay doesn’t charge for listings.
If you want say $1,000, list as Buy it Now $1,200 with offers option. Make the listing to say $900 offers and above referred to you. Any offer under $900 will be ignored. You’ll get an eBay message saying you have an offer. You’ll then have the buyer ID so you can check buying history, address etc and make a decision (48 hours) to accept or Counter offer back.
Good luck.
