I have never sold any of my jewelry before but I am considering selling some of my Tiffany gold jewelry to add to my diamond earring fund. Most of these pieces are about 15-20 years old. I have boxes, paperwork and sales receipts on all pieces.

What is the best way to sell them with the least hassle and best price? I'm not sure about e-bay since there seems to be a lot of fakes. Should I visit local jewelry stores to see what they would offer or if they had item that I'm interested in we may be able to work out a deal? Or are online resale sites the best way to go?

Thanks for your help

Many PSers sell and buy via Loupe Troop. You’d need to make an account there and make listings for the pieces you want to sell. Then you can start a thread in Preloved here on PS with links back to your Loupe Troop listings.

Be sure to blank out (or cover) any serial numbers or personally identifying info in your photos.

If you’re prioritizing least hassle, I’ve had good experiences selling Tiffany to Fashionphile. They buy outright, and for the pieces I‘ve sold so far they have offered 65-70% of the retail price. If you’re prioritizing best price, you‘ll probably do better selling it yourself or finding a consignment option though!
