Here are some pics of the Jeff White sapphire that I first saw here on PS and had to have. I got it set here in nyc this week. I''m quite pleased with how it turned out. The stone is cushion cut and a little smaller than 8mm on a side. Please forgive the finger hair. The recipient is decidedly less hairy than I am.

Last one. The light can play some funny tricks in photos. This thing sparkles...

HI:

Very elegant!

cheers--Sharon

OMG, that is absolutely stunning! Perfection!

And I agree, Jeff''s stones are magic!

I think this classic, solid setting is the perfect complement to this sapphire. WOW!!

Not an e-ring, but a bday present. It took her a while to catch her breath!
Even on this misty cloudy day the ring sparkles and turns every kind of blue and violet.

Thanks all for your help and info. I can see how the colored stone thing can be plenty addicting. There are a million shades, awesome shapes, and then whole "hunt" component to it. Great fun.

Well done! I am so glad that lovely stone found such an equally lovely home.

Very pretty!

Beautiful ring. You did a great job.

Linda

Where did you get the setting?

Ianelli Diamonds on 47th. Mario was great to work with. I went in with a few setting numbers from Unique Settings of New York, but when I actually saw the settings and the stone together, I wasn't feeling it with those I had picked out. Ianelli had hundreds of settings in stock, and this one met all my expectations.

I'll take a hand shot on the recipient next time it's sunny!

It''s beautiful! I love Jeff''s work.

Lovely ring, she''ll adore it!

That''s fantastic Anemone! That ring is very elegant and the stone is a stunner. I''m sure you''ve earned some brownie points there
