Setting Advice Needed Please - Asscher Cut Topaz

Hi Everyone,

I''ve been thinking about how to set my blue topaz asscher in a ring and am really struggling to decide. The stone is 7x7x6.5 and 2.5ct and I was hoping to set it as a solitaire (with a low profile) in white gold. I was thinking of something in a half-bezel but I can''t seem to find good examples.

This is the only design I have seen, that has something that looks like a semi bezel, combined with an asscher cut stone.

It''s got a halo, and it''s not a ring, but I couldn''t find anything closer to your description.

I’d like to caution you that you most likely need a custom setting due to the extreme depth of the stone. The depth is almost equal to the length and width. Unfortunately, this is one of the unspoken drawbacks of the asscher cuts in coloured gemstones.
