Setting for light pinkish brown diamond

Hello! I recently purchased a light pinkish brown diamond to make into a necklace for my mom. I was thinking of setting it in rose gold with a silver chain. Does this sound like a good idea? I also toyed with setting it with white diamonds surrounding it. Which setting would be better for this color? Rose gold would help but setting near white diamonds might too! Having a hard time finding inspiration photos too!! Will attach the diamond pics. Thanks!

It would look great in rose gold with bright white diamonds around it set in white metal. It'll make the color of the center diamond pop

Agree with a bezel. I think halos on the neck dull really fast as they pick up oil from near constant skin contact and therefore dust and or fluff from clothes.

I think a rose gold bezel on a white metal chain will look great.

I'd definitely go with rose gold to try to accent the color of the diamond. If possible, I'd also recommend a color enhancement cup underneath the diamond to help with color saturation. The diamond might not pick up the color a huge amount if it has good light performance however. Whatever you can do to enhance the color of the stone. Setting it off against a white metal would be a great way to set off the color and create some contrast as well.

Oh I’m so sorry!!! That is so upsetting! Hope you found another bauble to cherish and love! I will absolutely be setting in rose gold, and likely taking advice from above and adding a color enhancement cup with a white gold chain!

Update: put this beauty into a bezel setting with two diamonds I had from an older pair of diamond earrings! I think she came out gorgeous!
