Hello fellow PS'ers...
It's been a moment since I have posted... though I have stalked all the amazing pieces often. I have been on the same hunt as many of you for an oec, well cut and of higher color. As always, my timing just - well sucks. lmao. Anywho, I recently had Steven Kirsch reset a pair of wf a cut above studs I got for my birthday and he pulled out the most insane eoc ring out of his vault- its a tad over 1 ct, pretty close to colorless set in a real antique halo with emeralds. This little baby was a fireball. Though I'm looking for this stone to be more modest than my oval, my big ole fingers needed larger. So if any of you are looking for an insane 1ct contact steven.
Anywho... that set me into my journey to actually find a 2ct oec. I decided to look up jonathan and see what he had... well he had exactly what I was looking for on his website. A 2.02 f vs1 lgd oec. It arrived and I love.. for a hot second I thought maybe I should swap out for closer to 3ct ( OY) and then I had to remind myself that this was going to be my more modest ring. I find most days I'm running around and not as comfy wearing my big honker at lacrosse fields or even to target. Times have changed a tad.
So, I need help with my setting. I will be sending off to Steven Kirsch to have him make it. I have always had such a positive experience with him. His work is beautiful. I Ofcourse need to add something something. I'm just not a solitaire kind of gal. I am leaning towards a cushion halo and have pics of some i have loved through the years. First a photos of the stone.. I'm a horrible photographer and its in a holding thingy... lmao. In person its amazing even if my photos are terrible. So, pipe in with some thoughts, and help me out!!!
