Looking for right hand ring ideas for a 2.38 rb, 8.3 round. It's not GIA, but originally graded I1, "M" with SBF. Close to eye clean, but def has color. It's currently in a setting with 4, .40 and 4, .30 rounds. Buying it from my in law's estate, it was my mother in law's wedding ring, but we are not emotionally attached to the setting, if that makes sense!

I can either buy a semi mount or have one made, using the stones we have on hand.

I thought about using the rounds and having a flower type halo - but that might be too much for me, even! That is saying a lot, because I love bling!

For color, my current wedding ring pic is attached :) My center is a 2.10 GIA XXX S12 K with SBF, setting is 3.75 ctw. Soring4.jpg

Ideas?

I think a flower halo would be beautiful, perhaps in rose gold if you want to celebrate the warmth or yellow gold if you want to mask it.

I have my M in platinum. (It’s an OEC and I love the warmth.)

Daisy type halo- maybe with alternating the .40 and .30’s
Or
A graduated halo?

If you can show a picture of the ring on your hand and a close up shot too,
Maybe somebody can do a few mock-ups to get a idea of perspective?

Rose gold would look lovely!

I'd get a flower ring because I think they're fun and showy and never go out of style. I think white gold would make for a nicely coordinated look with your wedding set.

Quick pics... sorry, the second pic looked better on my phone!

I think that the stones you have woukd do a lovely cluster.
open it up to utilizing other additional smaller melee instead of and not using all yours and your options are obviously endless.
Scale is a best guesstimate, and of course adding tilt and tuck of the cluster stones in an actual setting would change much of the look.

I love Rfisher's ideas. Here's an example from DK.

I am absolutely open to using other stones - these are big enough to use in earrings, etc.

I bought "all" of her jewelry, also a 1.5 cluster. I'll get a photo of it and post it, too. A 14k (case and band) Bulova watch I will probably sell for the gold weight, a few other pieces for scrap gold.

Thank you for the ideas! I will keep you all in the loop!
