Should I go for this oval diamond? Certificate attached.

I want an oval diamond for my wedding! And there are no oval options anywhere in Egypt where I live! Only round.

My budget is USD 10,000 and I want a 1.5 carat oval diamond.

I was offered one (certificate attached) for $11,550 in Dubai, where my fiancé lives.

Is this one a good option? Should I go for it? Or I can find better? What’s the pros and cons of this one? And what to look for instead?

Sorry for the long message but I’m clueless regarding diamonds and I want to get the most perfect diamond since it’s a big amount and I won’t be able to see it before buying

Unfortunately, ovals and other fancy cuts cant be chosen based on numbers alone. Pictures and videos are needed. Do you have any videos or pics of the stone?

Ask for pics and vids in different lighting conditions, not just jewelry store / spotlighting. You want it in natural lighting, shaded lighting, fluorescent lighting etc. A 1.3ish ratio is a bit of a chubbier oval, but those are less prone to bad bow-ties, so that’s good. Imo it is a little deep, with a thick girdle, which means the face up size will be impacted, but if it is fiery and well cut that might not bother you. I personally trust HRD, and I think H VS2 will be “safe”, but that’s a “know your audience” thing - HRD is most well received in Europe, with reasonable presence in the ME, HK and India from what I’ve been told. It is almost unheard of in the US, where AGS has a large foothold as the best non-GIA lab.

Make sure some of the videos are up close so we can see the faceting in the stone and that they move the stone slowly back and
forth so we can see what the facets are doing (returning light or not).

Meanwhile, another jewelry store offered me these two oval options, for $10,700 (certificate with date march 3rd) and $11650 (certificate with date feb 19th)

Should I ask for videos for both of them or one of them needs to be excluded? I mean to limit my options.

Out of the 3, which one should I focus on more?
