Should I see, or not?

Question ladies: I wear glasses 24/7 with bifocals. They are rectangular tortoise shell frames, and not large. I have to wear them all the time, for everything. Because I had an operation on my eyes a few years ago, I can''t wear contacts. So- for wedding day, should I wear the glasses and see clearly, or not wear them, and be glasses-free for pics? Keep in mind, I''ve worn these glasses for 2 years non-stop. But I like the look better without, because you can see my eyes! What are the opinions?

well how about a compromise?
say, where the glasses the whole time except for posed pics. that way you''ll have pics both ways and still be able to see when needed.

Yeah, I think the compromise sounds good. That way you still get lots of non-glasses photos, but you can actually see your husband during your vows etc. It would be a shame to miss that!!

I wonder if I should get a different pair of glasses- maybe wire-framed or something. What if they don''t match?

I like the compromise ideas!

I was going to say look for a new pair of glasses. There are some that practically disappear on your face. I''d definitely take them off for when you''re doing pictures though. Really, you don''t want to go through your whole wedding day with things being fuzzy and perhaps missing some things! Plus, when I couldnt have contacts and I didn''t wear my glasses for some things I''d get a killer headache...wouldn''t want that on your wedding day/night either!

My first thought was do you want to make it down the aisle without landing on your face? I would definately find some new glasses, FFF works in the optical industry she might be able to point you to some good ones.

Blue, you''re right, I think I''m going to start looking for glasses, it can''t hurt to have an extra pair.

Mata, that''s exactly what I was thinking. I have a habit of falling down a lot, and that''s in tennis shoes on carpet- WITH my glasses!! I can only imagine the horror of heels, runner, and no glasses!

I think you will miss out if you can''t see your FI''s face or details of the day. I think you should wear your glasses.

I like the compromise idea. Take off for some pics, others you can have them on. Yes, still shop for new glasses. I just got a new pair Saturday! Can''t wait until they come in. Sometimes I''m so sick of my contacts that I wish I had a decent pair of eyeglasses. Hopefully these do the trick!
How about a less obvious pair like wireless ones like these?

If you can believe it, Vera Wang has a bridal line of eyeglasses?!? Swavorski crystals!! Too funny!

Make sure you get the anti-glare coating on them, so that, for any photos you DO have them on, they won''t reflect the flash!

Personally, I''m funny, if my BF wore glasses everyday, I''d want him in glasses for our photos b/c that''d be "him" to me...

Good point, I have a cute picture of V and I but he does not have his glasses on and it always looks funny to me when I see that. But then I am not a fan of change.
