Does anyone have photos of a Leon Mege Solitaire with a wedding band? I would love to see photos :)

I think I’ve narrowed down the window of rings too far…so, if anyone has any type of Leon creation, can you post what it looks like w/ a w/b????

mintve, you might have trouble finding many pics. Leon recommends NOT wearing wedding bands with his e-rings and I think most gals follow his advice. gingerbcookie has a 3-sided pave leon set she does wear together but hers is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. her pics have disappeared b/c they were never uploaded onto PS and they changed systems. maybe she''ll see this and can repost them for you to at least see.

I have a cushion solitare and wedding band that Leon made that I wear together every day. MrsSalvo is right, Leon doesn''t advise this- in fact I saw him last week regarding some earrings he is doing for me and he said he was just going to pretend he didn''t notice that I was wearing them this way :) So far they have held up just fine.

I''m not sure how to repost my pics, but if you type in dmarielevin you can find them. Hope it helps!

I LOVE gingerbcookie''s ring... I believe this is hers (had it saved as "ginger band").

I also love Leon's rings and I love 3-sided pave and I love stacking rings... as was mentioned, Leon does not recommend wearing his rings with other rings.

I had posted regarding this dilemma and somewhere (in this thread or another) someone had mentioned Leon making adjustments on a ring for the two to safely be worn together. I can't remember if it was ginger's ring or somebody else's.

I still haven't made my decision - still debating on halos, sidestones, stackability, etc. Good luck on your decision.

Thanks Sera...I will have a look. I was reading a thread last night and I am trying to find it. I think I may have saved it on myn home laptop. Anyway, there was a ps''er with a LM solitaire. I think she had about a 1 carat stone w/ double claw prongs and Leon made a catherdral style setting that allowed for a flush wb. It also had a collar around 3 sides fo the stone. It was really nice. If I find it I will post it here.

Here is scintillating''s Leon. Its so pretty! i love the way it looks! I am thinking of doing a ring like this, but with a plain band.

Interesting. I had not heard this before. Can you tell me why? [I would guess that it would be because of the wear but what do I know! Or maybe it is because of the micropave?]. I''d love to know.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I think it has to do with the micropave, diamonds rubbing against diamonds issue. But, i''ve heard he also doesn''t recommend bands being worn with his plain solitaire either so my best guess is he just doesn''t like the idea of the metal wearing down or getting scratched by other diamond bands which would happen to anyone''s set, no matter who makes it. i have noticed he has a couple of rings on his site that he says will allow for a wedding band so he might be opening up to the idea a bit, but in general he says no.

Thanks for the quick reply, mrssalvo. I can certainly understand the micropave and other diamond band issue. I wonder if he has the same issue with platinum on platinum [as I wear my rings].

Hi Mintve,

I have a LM solitaire -- full thread is here:
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/thanks-pricescope-markt-cushion-leon-setting-quest-band.71222/

He did say not to wear it with a band, but I can''t help it. I don''t have pave on the sides of either band, so I think it''s less dangerous for me! Quest made the wedding band, btw, not Leon.
