Show me your 2 Ct. Cushions w Halo!!!

Hi All! I wear a size 4.5 ring and wanted to see what a 2+ Carat Cushion would look on my hand...I am curious to see how much more a halo adds in regards to size...I love this website, its soo addicting!! Thanks in advance...

There have been plenty of these types of rings around here...you should use the search function up top to look for cushions with halos and see how much stuff comes up!

OK, well mine is 2+ ct total weight (even though my thread says 1.5, when I had it appraised it was actually over 2 cts)
but my center stone is only 1.28, and my finger is a size 5 (the ring is sized to 5.25 though) so even thought these don''t meet your exact specifications, I think you''ll get an idea of how huge a 2+ carat will look on your hands. I think mine looks huge on my hands and everyone who sees it thinks the center stone is 2 carats. Here are links to my threads

I have a 2ct cushion. I have huge hands with size 10 fingers, so my ring would no doubt look much larger than yours. The center stone is 2 carats, total carat weight including side stones is closer to 3.

Hi Cali,

My ring finger is a size 4.5 and I have a 2.52ct rounded corner radiant which is very similar to a cushion. Maybe it will help give you a feel for the size you are looking for. It is set in a halo and also has side stones, .30ctw of rounds and .53 ctw in the sides stones. Total ctw for the ring is 3.35. The halo does add quite a bit to the overall size. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much, Cali! Actually it wasn''t custom made. My local jeweler fell in love with the stone and brought it back with him and had it set in this Kobelli setting. My hubby and I spotted the ring one day when we were in for new watch batteries and it was love at first sight for both of us. Three weeks later we went back and it was mine! Here is a side shot. It sits very low compared to my previous ring and I have yet to knock it on anything.

Hi there, I have a 2.01 ct center stone cushion with a halo around it. This is my first time to put a picture up so not sure if this cropped image will work. I looked forever for a setting and couldn''t find one I liked so we designed using pictures from several different designers.

I have a 3.40ct cushion sapphire w/ .42ctw half moons (measures 9.02 x 8.32mm, equating to appr. 2.50- 3.00ct Cushion cut diamond). ...and I wear a finger size 5.
