Show me your BGD 5 stone 18k YG Trellis settings...

I just had a wonderful experience with BGD working on an anniversary gift for my wife. Now the 4 week wait for delivery begins. She will primarily use this as a RHR or LHR when she doesnt want to wear her wedding set. I went with YG because she prefers YG even though the wedding set is in platinum, which was her preference when we were married. I went back and forth on the setting between their trellis and classic (u-prong). I hope I made the right decision. The ring is ~2ctw (40ptrs) VS-SI/H-I BGD Signature stones. BGD sent me a picture of a prior clients 40ptr 5 stone in 18k YG trellis (below). But would love to see some in the wild before I second guess myself and instruct them to do a u-prong before they start! Is trellis classic and elegant (I find them very elegant but I'm not a 40yo woman and this is a surprise!) or old and antiquated?

Yes your ring is stunning! One of the reasons why I’m so torn! I’ve gone through 20 years of 5 stone posts lol.

I have a 3 stone BGD trellis setting in platinum, and think it’s a very classic and elegant setting.

I think both Trellis and U-Prong styles are timeless classic pieces. You can't go wrong with either one!

I have a YG BGD 5 stone u prong ring that I’ve been very happy with for almost 10 years.
The stones are 30 pointers and GSI1 certified. The prongs are platinum.

Trellis is also very beautiful!
