@voce gave me a new idea for a thread. Show me your sparkliest stones with light sabers coming out of them.

Purple/violet color shift spinel with red flashes. Spessartite that completely went on fire! The other cushion is a spinel too, but it’s not as well cut.

Same spinel in artificial light (purple) and Pink spinel. I also wore a sphene, but it’s doubly refractive, so hard to get a clear shot.

Spessartite is beautiful , both the gem and the ring design.

Thanks for the tips on how to take these photo! I looked through my pictures and didn’t see any light sabers. I’ll try to capture some the next time the sun comes out!

Very jealous!! I love a beautiful apple green sphene.

You can bypass the Christmas tree and lights this year with that stone!
