Show me: Your Solitaire and 5-stone band

I’m sorry if there is already a thread somewhere for this.
I just really curious as to how they would look together. I’m in the process of making a solitaire for our 10th anniversary and I thought a 5-stone band would look good next to it as a wedding ring. I’m indecisive.
Please help a girl here. TIA!!!

Not the best picture but here is mine..dang sorry they are so large!!! stats 1 ct princess cut (poorly cut) I color, SI2 and the 5 stone is .75 total weight, E-F color and VS1...both set in 18K yellow gold

My friend’s 1ct round solitaire with the same 1ctw five stone.

I do want to mention that while I love my five stone, I am itching to turn it into a seven stone for better finger coverage. My ring fingers are 5.5L/6R, this is a size 6 so I can wear it on both.

I don’t wear these two together at all, too much color contrast in both metal and diamonds. The 5-stone is K and it’s set in platinum (1.43tcw), solitaire is 18K yellow O-P (3.58ct).

I originally wanted a 5 stone band to pair with my 1.85 ct MRB solitaire, but when I tried a 1ctw (approx 3.7mm) 5 stone band, I felt it overwhelmed my e-ring a bit and was a bit too much for me for daily wear. Ultimately I went with a 7 stone, .84ctw (approx 3.1 mm band), which I think is much more complimentary. For reference, ring size is 5.5 but I usually size up 1/4-1/2 size to allow for swelling/stacking, etc.). HTH

Here's my 1.84ct H&A soli with 1 tcw 5 stone OEC (but the proportions of my 5 stone will be different with the soli as the OECs face up smaller than most 5 stones with modern cuts). I think they look nice together but I don't usually wear them as a pair.

ohhhhthat five stone and claw prongs is to die for!!!!!! Is that a custom setting?

Fingers crossed someone has an emerald cut solitaire with a 5 stone band to share....I love graduated 5 stones and would love a small one in my future!
