Here’s mine. Necklace gifted to me by my maternal uncle’s wife when I got engaged over 25 years ago (my God I am so old!). It says “God” in Arabic and the diamonds are zircon but it doesn’t matter to me. She passed away from breast cancer shortly after and she was my reason for pursuing my PhD in oncology. The first page of my dissertation is dedicated to her. Even today, I wear it for job interviews or anytime I am in a rut and it really lifts up my spirits. Or sometimes I will wear it for months at a time nonstop. I get so many compliments on it! I plan on passing it down to my daughter on her wedding day.
