Would like to see yours please.

This is my Barbara pendant in platinum from BGD. The stone is a .757 J VS2 BGD Signature H&A. It has not flipped on me at all, and I've been wearing it constantly for almost six months. Here's a link to my thread if you want to see more pictures.

OMG! Your necklace is sooo beautiful! Do you think the setting help to avoid flip? Never see this type of setting before.

What is the secret to stop the flipping?

Thank you! I think it is the setting. Lesley at BGD was telling me that she's gotten a lot of good feedback about this setting not flipping. I think it's good that the chain goes through the "top back" of the setting. Another pendant I have has the chain sort of feeding through the middle of the bezel, and it flips a lot.

It might also have to do with how long the chain is. I have a small neck, and I wear mine at the 15" jump ring 95% of the time. This puts it just under the lower part of the notch between my collarbones, so it's tilted up just a teeny bit.

Ok!

Do you have pics of this beauty in your neck? I know I ask a lot but I think you found the solution to avoid flip problem!

I have a couple neck shots in the thread (link is in my previous post). Here's one from that thread:

Sooo beautiful! Wahooooooo! :appl:

I also have the Barbara pendant (just yesterday), but so far it does not flip. It does roll or tilt slightly up and down due to how it is attached in the back. My chain is 16 and 17inches and the tilt happens at both lengths, but no flips.

Beautiful!!!!! Congrats! :appl:

Mine doesn't ever flip because it's very heavy and the chain goes through the piece near the top. It was custom made by my own jeweler.

I love your bezel and how the edges are rounded. It's very pretty!

Thanks MissGR. My jeweler is good. Sometimes grouchy, but good. He's nearing 70 and he's been hand making jewelry since he was a teenager. There's actually a white gold bezel around the stone and then a chubby yellow gold donut around that.

I got this diamond necklace years ago from Blue Nile and it doesn't flip on me at all. I love it because I can wear it everyday, it goes with everything and just adds a touch of elegance. Sorry I don't have any pictures of it on up close.
