I have a silly question:

Why do many of you move your ER to the right hand and wear the WB on the left vs. the WB on the right and the ER on the left? Just wondering because none of my family/friends have ever heard about wearing them on seperate fingers until I brought the topic up and most said they would "know" better if the ER was on the correct finger vs. a WB...I suppose the WB will look more like a RHR that way but ?

That very well could be. I remember in high school I worked at a fast food place and every Friday this lady would come in and she wore diamond solitaires on every finger EXCEPT her ering finger. I commented on them and she said she kept them from all of her marriages!

My sister wears her e-ring on her right hand and says that is the European way to wear it..... WR on the left.....

The only "old wives tale" I heard about ring fingers is that the wedding band is worn on the third finger of the left hand because there''s a vein in that finger that leads directly to the heart.....don''t know if that''s really fact but................awwwwwwwwwww, it''s a sweet thought!

I''ve seen a lot of women who wear nothing but a wedding ring on their left hand. Some women also wear their ering along with the wedding band. Some wear the ering on the right hand. Some don''t wear the ering at all once they are married. I''ve even seen some that wear the ering AS the wedding ring and leave it at that. So I guess what I''m saying is that anything goes.

I have my actual "wedding ring" which is a 6mm yellow gold band. But I also have a diamond wedding band, plus an anniversary band, plus an eternity band. I also have a silver filigree band ring. I wear them all interchangebly with my ering. the diamond band and the silver band are both around 10mm wide, and I don''t like the way they look with the ering on the outside, so I wear the ering closest to me with the band ring on the outside when I wear those. The gold band and the eternity ring I wear first with the ering on the outside. I can''t tell you how many people have told me that I''ve got my rings on the wrong way around when I wear the wider bands with my ering on the inside. One lady told me once that the way I was wearing them meant that I was a widow...lol. I figure they are MY rings, and I''ll wear them any dang way that I want to wear them. But then, that''s kind of my attitude about most things...
