SIL''s new engagement ring!

My SIL just got engaged yesterday. Her and her finace have been together for 10 years! And finally, with her acceptance into Dental School and him establishing himself with his new career, they have decided that they are ready for the next step.

A little background story on the ring: Me, Dh, SIL, and her now fiance all went to Hawaii back in July of 2005. We went a little shopping and came across an amazing jewelry store. It was there that my SIL found her aquamarine ring. She completely fell in love with it, so her bf at the time purchased it and has kept it stored away until now!

He got it appraised (good man!) Here are the stats:

Do you mind me asking what school she''s going to be going to? I''m actually also in dental school right now, and one advice I have (in terms of the ring) is watch out for the flying burrs! Trust me, they go everywhere when you''re still learning how to handle the handpiece. hehe...

I got a band for my clinic days so I dont mess up my engagement ring.

i''m finishing my first year at UCLA School of Dentistry. Actually I''m in the middle of studying for finals and....thank goodness for Pricescope breaks or else I''m going to lose my mind with all the material to learn! hehe..

This must be such an exciting time for your SIL, so many new but good things happening in her life. Tell her to enjoy it as dent school can be quite stressful at times. Let her know if she needs any advice I''m always here hehe...
