I've been on a jewellery overhaul, and these lovelies no longer get any wear.

OEC solitaire. Appraised as 5.7mm, I, SI1, approx. .86ct.
Set in 18kt white gold milgrained bezel, on 18kt band.
Eye-clean. Size 7? Can be resized.
This was my moi et toi ring. I used the other diamond as an upgrade with GOG, but I still have the setting, so it can be resoldered back onto this ring and set with your own stone (5mm).

Yellow gold hoops. I think two pair are 14kt, but will conservatively say 9kt. I am just not a hoop-wearing girl, even though I clearly wanted to be!
-20cm sleepers, 9kt $60
-10cm sleepers, 9kt $40
-10cm click-shut hoops, 9kt $80. I had a number of dangles made for these.


Love knot studs, 9kt, 8cm wide $40 (no backs)


Platinum, single cut eternity, approximately size 6.5, $800


Solid gold paperclip chain, 49cm, 24g. Handmade, melted down a mix of 9-18kt gold. $900.
I wore this with my Marla Aaron lock. But I’ve realised I don’t like wearing necklaces.

No, I made it! But had the bezels engraved by someone else.

The k is a mix of 9 and 18, so colour is between the two, but consistent between links. I did consider having the whole thing plated so it would be a more accurate colour match to existing jewellery (as much as is possible--colours of 18ct YG vary anyway!). But then I never wore the necklace, so I decided not to put more money into it.

Tbh, I've been offered more if I sold it as scrap. Gold prices have been insane! But because a bit of work went into it, I thought that if someone were ready to love it as is, then it could be theirs.

I highly recommend goldsmithing! I was lucky enough to have a school within walking distance of my house. Smelting, hammering, sawing, stretching, filing etc etc; so satisfying! It's also given me a deep appreciation of the work my jeweller does, and a common language.
