Well, I finally sucked it up and listed my amazing Single Stone setting on Diamond Bistro:

This listing is for an insanely stunning platinum and diamond Single Stone setting made up of .50ct of Old European Cut diamonds, G/H color and VS clarity.

I had this hand-crafted, custom setting created for my 8.75mm OEC in November and paid $6,100 for it. It was only worn for 2 weeks and is in pristine, brand new condition. The detail work on this ring will take your breath away - it's delicate and unlike any ring I've ever seen! It is currently a size 4.75, but your jeweler will be able to resize larger or smaller if necessary.

It's killing me to part with this amazing piece, but I ended up going back to another setting that I had my heart set on originally. You can read about my reset journey on Pricescope here:

Hi...i had your ring saved in a folder!! I'm really interested in the setting. I don't have a stone for it but approximately what size (in carat) is the setting for and also what shape? Can the ring be resized to a size 4 without losing any detail? My diamond bistro registration is pending but I will contact you as soon as it gets through.

this is one of my fav settings from SS! i don't think my 9.31-9.41 diameter stone would fit otherwise i would have it and my bank account would have to punish me later. my ring size 4.75 too!

Thank you! The stone this setting held previously was 8.75mm in diameter...so your stone is about .55 mm larger. It's not too far off, but your stone would cover a bit more of the face...
