Small things your SO does to make you happy?

Hey ladies just thought another happy thread for this frustrating time we are all going through was in order to remind us of the small things our Bfs/FFs do to make us happy.

I''ll start: My Bf always make sure that there is milk in the fridge for my morning tea and coffee (which i can''t function without

) when he knows i''m staying over his place. He does it because he knows itmakes me happy even though he doesn''t really drink milk or use it for anything and go easily go without for weeks at a time.

My bf brings me flowers whenever we haven''t seen each other for a few days, and every time he picks me up at some kind of transportation hub. I''ve told him a few times he doesn''t have to (even though I like it, I feel like I should protest at least a little), but he loves doing it. He also makes sure there''s plenty of earl grey tea in the house, because I drink it every morning. He''s wonderful!

Funny you put up this poll because I just named my Facebook page "it''s the little things that matter most".

BF will pick up my favorite candy when he goes to the store or load the dishwasher when I''m not home (that''s my job). If he''s really, really trying to be sweet he''ll buy me a nail polish since that''s my obsession/hobby. mostly though, he''s just affectionate daily and that means a lot to me. When does really grand gesture type things it completely shocks me and makes me cry most times (Friday he emailed me at work and told me I''m the true love of his life). I was a blubbering mess at work for the rest of the day.

Sometimes at night my feet get cold. He gets out of bed, gets socks, lifts up the covers and puts them on my feet, and then rubs them for a minute to warm them up.

Such a sweetie!!!

He folds my laundry

Laundry is my least favorite chore, and he always folds my things very nicely and puts them into neat little piles.

He ran a layout drill with me last night to teach me how to fall.

Also, when I spend the night at his house, he wakes up early and walks the dog, and lets me keep sleeping.

nice thread Magpie and how thoughtful of your BF to put milk in the fridge. that''s so sweet!

in the mornings, he''ll start the shower for me so it''s nice and warm by the time i get to the bathroom. i especially love that during the wintertime!

if i send him to the grocery store, he always gets a little something extra for me like my favorite ice cream or snack even if it''s not on the list.

he lets me have the remote control whenever we watch tv.

if i''m super tired from work and end up falling asleep early, he''ll let me hog the whole bed to myself and he''ll sleep on the couch so he doesn''t "disturb" me. for whatever reason, it''s really hard for me to fall back asleep if he gets in bed after me. it''s sucks that our bed shakes with every little movement.

best of all, he''s just really affectionate everyday. we always say "i love you", we always kiss each other when we leave for work, and he gives me the best hugs when i come home.

Gives me pedicures.

Writes me love notes and hides them around the house.

Holds my hand.

Lets me play the songs I like in the car.

Thanks me for cooking for him and gushes over how wonderful the meal was.

Loves my son like he is his own.

he always remembers my schedule and texts me a good morning text for me to wake up to, and good luck and i love you texts before major events. and he blends my salsa and gives me back rubs and foot rubs and he''ll comb my hair if i let him

He always keeps a box of my fizzy lime water in the house even though he thinks it''s totally gross.

He will:

1.) B will indulge me and swith the TV to Extra and Access Hollywood when we are eating dinner in front of the TV (he hates that trash but I LOVE IT!)
2.) Scratch my back if I sit just the right way....he knows thats what I love!
3.) He starts the laundry every day and gets it all done by the time I get home so all I have to do is fold (he''s currently unemployed and has the time....but he''s not allowed to fold since it''s not "good enough Hee hee.)
4.) He makes the cofee and puts it on auto each night so its ready and waiting for me when I get out of the shower in the morning
5.) He really gives me "my way" most of the time....hes'' pretty easy goign like that.
6.) He ALWAYS does the dishes
7.) Every meal I cook is the "best dinner EVER" and brags about me to all of his friends and family. It''s so cute!

Well, this isn''t really a small thing but FI cooks, he cleans, he pays our rent and our food bills.. and he never complains.

During my exams or when I am doing assignments he will make me little snacks, coffee, energy drinks and then give me back rubs afterwards.

FI is a health nut, but sometimes he will come home with ice cream, lollies, bags of chips and soda- we will watch trashy movies and just vege out.

... He is just amazing

I''ve enjoyed reading this read. It''s great to see that you all have such wonderful and loving men in your life.

My SO carries me over big puddles of rain so I don''t get water into my shoes (I''m usually wearing flats). We don''t live together but he knows what my schedule is and he always calls me first thing in the morning to say that he loves me. It makes me feel all warm inside and its a great start to my day.
