For you girls that live in Southern Cal... how is the weather in November? Also do you think it will be hard to find hydrangeasthat time of year?? I live in AZ and we have no seasons but I am getting married in Disneyland and I usually only go there in the spring. I have no idea what average novembers are like there so any advice would be welcomed!!!

Hi Bravesfan!!

Anaheim is further inland than where I''m from so I had to check on weather.com for you! In November, you should expect an average high/low of 74/51, and there is a chance of rain. We pretty much have wet and dry seasons here and the wet is just starting up again in Nov, so it''s not necessarily likely, but it''s more likely than in, say, August. Is the wedding indoors? I mean, you just never know. I was in a wedding down here in coastal San Diego last October 31 and it was a picture-perfect day--almost hot, but not quite, just 70s and sunny and perfect.

As far as hydraenga (my FAAAAVORITE!!!) they''re usually a cooler weather flower, BUT since it''s cooling down by then, there''s definitely a chance that local florists will have locally grown ones. I''d make some calls to check. Peonies on the other hand, REALLY pricey here b/c they''re not native. But I have plenty of friends who grow hydraenga so I think there''s a good shot there.

Thanks blueroses for checking all that for me! I never even thought about weather.com! The ceremony will be out doors but the reception will more than likely be in doors. We are thinking the beg of nov so hopefully it wont rain.

Thanks again!! I really appreciate it.

Hi bravesfan!

Are you having an outdoor or indoor wedding at Disneyland? I think the weather can go either way, the past few months have been pretty dry and the weather has been warm, from 50-70''s on average, but the year before it rained non-stop in November and December.

as for hydrangea''s, do you have a florist? I can pm you several vendors if you like or you can also check out insideweddings.com for a list of vendors in southern california...I am sure you can get them at any time of year, the price is just a factor when they are not in season. Inn Downtown Los Angeles, there is a flower mart as well with great deals.

I used http://www.squarerootdesigns.com/ and cannot say enough words about how wonderful they were to work with and how gorgeous the flowers were at our wedding.

Best wishes to you!

Ditto on the other posts: could be rainy in November and could be chilly (50s) but this year it was sunny and 70s for most of November.

At night it will be chilly, regardless of the day time temp. I would suggest more than just a wrap for the evenings in November.

The ceremony will be outside and probably in the evening (4 ish?) but the reception will be in side. My problem is the Disney wont let you book until exactly 12 months before your date so its very hard to get information (they wont answer specific questions until you have a date held). That wouldnt be a problem except for the fact that the places we would use as a backup plan in Arizona book up about a year and a half in advance. I am trying to find out as much information as I can so that if there is a problem we wont loose a good place in AZ.

Thanks for all your help...

Do you think that we will be freezing that late in the afternoon???

Now that I''m thinking about it, I just went to a wedding on Nov. 6 with the ceremony at 3:30, it was in Malibu but in the canyons, not at the beach (so probably similar to Anaheim, which is inland a bit). I wore a sleeveless dress with a pashmina and I was totally comfortable. One of my friends wore a fancy turtleneck with no wrap and she was fine too. I think the bride was too nervous to be chilly! I think you''ll be fine for the ceremony and if it happens to be a chilly day I''m sure Disney will provide heat lamps. I do remember that when we left around 9pm it was FREEZING, but we were in a canyon so I think that makes a difference.

Our wedding was this past November. It was really sunny and warm during the day, but it was a little bit chilly after the sun set and we put on little faux fur capelets to keep us warm. But I think this past November was kind of dry compare to other years. I don''t think you can really tell this far in advance. You will probably need to have the option of moving the ceremony indoor if it rains.
