so disappointed....need dress help

well, i went and committed the cardinal sin of bridehood. i fell in love with a dress out of my budget

. for some reason I kept getting the tags confused when i was trying on the dresses and i thought the dress was 859 when it was really 1200. 859 is a little on the high side so i called to ask if they would sell me the sample, which they wouldn't, but they offered me a discount on the dress (which is actually what made it 1200, i'm still not sure what the tag said). I am so ridiculously disappointed because it was THE dress, and i haven't seen another dress that has the same silhouette or design AND it's nowhere to be found cheaper online . So...i'll take your pity (

) but i'd REALLY appreciate help finding another dress that has the same feel as this one. it's tight through the hips and then flares out into a beautiful full skirt with lots of dimension and has a full train. it's also the beautiful dress that the beloved NewEnglandLady wore on her big day.

If it makes you feel better, I think you can do a whole lot better than that dress. I''m not loving in on your bod at all. That swish to the side thing isn''t doing your butt and hips any favors, ya know?!? Seriously, you can find something way better than that, and less expensive to boot! Keep looking...

(But like i said don''t pay any attention to what it looks like in the mirror because it''s split and is an extra 4 inches or so too wide! if you notice i have 2 1/2 boobs). the silhouette is actually a lot more slimming than any a-lines i tried on....

I think i am going to try to find a salon that has that dress along with "jordana". thanks for pointing me to the maggie sottero site - i had sort of given up on her lines because i hadn't seen anything before, but her 2008 collection has some dresses i'm interested in. thanks again

"joli bridal" is the offbrand of anjolique, I would go and find a boutique that carries this brand. I saw one dress that was pretty close to what you looked at, its jolie 3903, I believe. angielea- thanks for the link! I had never heard of joli bridal, and they actually had a couple of dresses that I think might be comparable. now to actually find a salon that carries the dresses......

Ebree - I did call pearls place and just about every other discounter and nobody carries the line! perfectbridal.com said that they did, but when i asked they said they didn''t and then i read online last nite that they had been selling knockoffs (which in all honesty i would have taken! [as long as i knew it was a knockoff]). so unless one goes up on ebay or preowned i''m SOL with finding it cheaper.

Have you seen this Watters dress? It looks a lot better in person that it does in the picture. My friend bought it for her wedding, and it's gorgeous.
