I love it so much. I thought it would darken up in the setting, but I swear it's even prettier in the setting.

I am just dying to get my JW spinel. Victor just got my ring today for resizing and he won't be able to complete it till mid next week because of the engraving (some issue with staffing). I won't get the spinel till they can both be shipped

A well cut stone should perform well even if it's a little on the dark side and yours really does! Very pretty! I love that color.

I was really surprised how well the cut showed up on those pictures. Gotta love good cameras.

And, trust me, it's great to have an excuse to buy clothes for it but you'll figure out that such a beauty goes with EVERYTHING and ANYTHING!!!!! i'm wearing mine every day, regardless of what color clothes I have on....

It goes down when I'm inside, but it still sparkles. Right now I'm sitting in shade and it's still blue but not as rich, but he's, still sparkles., but I still like it because it's a very cobalt blue, and never black.

Setting it certainly helped it a lot! I also saw your thread where you looked at it in office lights and you liked it there. I think its very important to evaluate stones in every light because they can appear to be different in all of them.

Glad you love it. The velvet blueness of the stone really comes through after you had it set!
