So I finally did it...

I started the 30 day shred.

This morning I finished day 6 (level 1). The first couple of days I felt AWFUL. It isn''t as bad now. I''m able to make it through the entire workout AND I can move (reasonably) comfortably during the day.


On Friday my weight was 157.6 -- this morning I was at 153.2. It has been great watching my weight creep down this last week (this morning was .2 pounds less than yesterday

). Pants are feeling better too and I feel like my back is more toned (less excess flabby bits).


Haven''t done much with my diet. Eating pretty much the same, just trying to pay more attention to when I am full.
 
I dont know anything about the shred thing but just wanted to pass on some words of encouragement...

YOU GO GIRL!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! KEEP IT UP!!! WAY TO GO!!!
 
congratulations! keep it up :) that''s always the hardest part wtih exercise - not losing focus/motivation

I am starting it again though on Saturday because I will be all healed up enough to start it again! I know what you mean about not being able to move haha I felt muscles that I never knew I had (that is a joke as in my line of work I must know each and every one! haha ). That is so wonderful about the weightloss, I found I gained a few pounds but muscle weighs more than fat so I am not trying to get caught up on pounds as much as inches. Please stop in and keep us updated, I love all the motivation of others and hearing how others are doing. Here is a *BIG* pat on the back and hug for getting this far and doing so well!!

I had to skip this morning after doing something to my ankle yesterday but I''m hoping to be back at it tomorrow.

After reading all the other posts about it and then seeing your results, I bought the DVD over the weekend and did it for the first time yesterday. Yowzas, I''m sore today!

Keep at it. It has gotten easier the last few times but there were a couple of days last week where I just didn''t think I''d make it through.


ETA: I noticed that I''ve got less jiggle in my arms now!
