It is mid-year, and we have to take a break again - my good friend, a German doctor, had a third stroke. So we are going to Germany, and I am self-supporting, so...

I did not sell much, ever, and my phone broke, Galaxy Note 8 is not there yet and the cheaper phone that I bought in the meantime takes shamelessly poor photos. I am making a listing today, plan to take photos tomorrow.

- peachy-dusty rose- pink tourmaline, African, old material, unheated, precision round cut (beautiful cut), tons of fire! I always planned to sell it and then held back. 6.87 ct. I am positive someone will love it.
- merelani mint, a precision cut (a recut), 4.16 ct, on the light side but very green, no grey, very clean. There is also a Mali garnet that I bought planning to make a three-stone ring out of a mint, a Mali and a spinel, the Mali and the mint could be sold together or separately
- a bicolor blue/white sapphire, 2+ct, unheated, octagon cut, bought from Tan.
- feelers for a blue heart-shaped emerald 1.15 ct it is untreated but has inclusions so will be very cheap.
- a ring made by James Meyer in old times featuring a 0.7 ct pink sapphire cut by Gene Flanigan - I almost never wore it because it was too small for my hand, it is well-made, beautiful bezel, with tiny side diamonds.
Two Welo opals, that sat in my safe for many years and did not change. Safe, I think. One is a beautiful trilliant with amazing colorplay; could be sold together with a semisphere cherry opal, I planned to make a "yacht" with the opal being a sail, they match well
- a sugarloaf tsavorite
some side spessartites

(Possibly) Movado two-tone gold earrings
(Possibly) golden bracelet with granulations and several stones (a garnet, a peridot, a topaz, if I am not mistaken)

To continue tomorrow. Part of the proceeding will be sent for Canadian wildfire relief or used to cover what I have already donated

I shall post on Loupetroop.

I'm sorry to hear of your friend's problems :( I hope they are able to recover quickly and fully, although there always seems to be some lasting effects with stroke, unfortunately :(

You are truly a good friend if you are willing to make personal sacrifices to help them - may they fully appreciate your actions and your good karma overfloweth :)

Hi, I am sorry you have to go under such sad circumstances.
If you'd like any infos on Germany, my home country, let me know and I'll contact you via one of your listings!

HI:

Sorry about your friend. And thank you for donating to the wildfires!!

Much success on the sale of your beautiful items.

cheers--Sharon

Wow, sounds like a lot hit at once for you. :(2 I guess when it rains, it pours. Good luck with it all - I know you have an excellent eye, so your stones will be lovely and can't wait to ogle them.

Hi -- just wondering if these items are still going up for sale? I'd be interested in some, but also understand if you changed your mind.

...and if you did change your mind, please ask the Mods to close this thread. =)2
