I have an opportunity to buy a dress.

It's a GORGEOUS dress and a great deal. The dress normally retails for $3-$4k, and the girl is selling it for less than half. It's my favorite designer, and I'm almost positive that I'll end up with a dress of hers. Alas, there are issues.

1. We haven't set a date (though we know it'll be early 2007)
2. I haven't even started to discuss costs with my Dad
3. I haven't tried on this particular dress, though I've tried on similar by the same designer.

I've been taken with this dress from the moment I saw it. The girl has it in EXACTLY my size. Oh, and it fits into my smaller budget perfectly (a budget I've set for myself that I'm sure my parents will approve of as it's about half of the US average).

What do I do?

BUY IT!!!

If for some reason it really doesn''t work out well, you can always sell it again. Since you''re getting such a good deal on it, you can probably sell it for at least as much as you''re paying for it, so you won''t lose any money on it in that case.

But - it sounds like it''s perfect for you! And if you don''t buy it you''re just going to regret it and every time you go shopping you''ll be thinking in the back of your head, "This is nice...but I bet that other one would have been better." (Or at least, that''s what I''d be thinking!)

So buy it RIGHT NOW and you''ll probably get a great deal on the perfect dress for you, but if not, you just lose a teeny bit of time posting it on ebay!

Try it on and see how you feel once you are wearing it. If you absolutely love it and it''s exactly what you want then I say go for it. It sounds like a great deal-

I say go for it...you can always sell it if it''s not perfect. My wedding is May 27, 2007 and I already ordered my dress...so don''t worry about that part.

Will you get to try it on before you buy it?

BUY IT! It''s exactly the same thing I did, and I couldn''t be happier!

Good luck!

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!!!!!!!

If the dress is wrong, or ends up being above budget, you ebay it. Big deal.

This sounds like you''re SUPPOSED to have this one!!

I''m going to try it on this weekend if she still has it for sale. I have my eye on another dress from the same designer that I HAVE tried on, but it''s $1150 more (and still a great deal for being new, the other has been worn once).

try it on this weekend and if you love it, BUY IT!!!

EB, I say buy it. You don''t want any What If''s to happen..

Try it on and if it is what you want get it! I bought my dress in May last year for my Oct. 2006 wedding. It was such a relief to have my dress so early!!!
